Occupational Title: Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Maintenance Technician
Key Purpose: Treat, monitor, store, and dispose hazardous materials and conduct emergency response.
Critical Work Functions
1.
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards and company policies pertaining to hazmat. AEKS Matrix
2. Develop, implement, and utilize a national incident management system. AEKS Matrix
3. Treat, handle, store, mitigate, and dispose of hazardous materials and wastes in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements. AEKS Matrix
4. Document and report preparation and maintenance as pertains to hazmat regulations. AEKS Matrix
5. Monitor, inspect, and conduct sampling for environmental health and safety compliance. AEKS Matrix
6. Set-up and maintain equipment utilized to comply with hazmat guidelines. AEKS Matrix
7. Perform operations utilizing appropriate equipment safely in accordance to federal, state, and local standards and company policies. AEKS Matrix
