1.1.4  Use hazmat reference materials to identify potential sample interferences.
1.1.5  Use hazmat reference materials to identify incompatible combinations of chemicals that could result in dangerous situations. 
1.1.6  Use hazmat reference materials to select appropriate drums and containers. 
1.1.7  Use hazmat reference materials to identify treatment, removal, and disposal systems, such as bio-remediation, chemical and physical, deep-well injection incineration, vitrification, and volatile organic compounds. 
1.1.8  Use hazmat   reference materials to obtain information through publications on training to stay current on regulatory issues. 
1.1.9  Supervisory audit indicates proper utilization of reference materials.
