Welcome to the Texas Skill Standards Repository.
All Texas Skill Standards Board (TSSB) recognized skill standards are stored here. TSSB recognition means that the standards have met criteria for procedural and content validity and reliability according to the TSSB’s Guidelines for the Development, Recognition, and Usage of Skill Standards and Developing Skill Standards: A User's Guide.
All skill standards are submitted by industry groups and required to be reviewed and updated within five years. The review and update will occur during the 12 months prior to the expiration date.
Skill standards that are expired and are no longer recognized by the TSSB are archived.
The skill standards are listed in alphabetical order by title, followed by information about the standards:

ITAC Convenor: the name of the group which led the development effort and/or authored the skill standards

EXP: the time frame in which the standards’ TSSB recognition will expire

CR or R: the format in which the standards are presented:

Conditionally Recognized (CR) - the standards are presented in the ITAC Convenor's format
-
Recognized (R) - the standards are presented in TSSB format
-
Sector/CIP Code: the categories to which the standards belong:

Sector - the related TSSB Industry Sector
-
CIP Code - workforce program codes which identify related degree and certificate programs
-
National Career Cluster: the national career cluster category to which the standards belong. Skill Standards-Career Clusters Matrix
The titles of some of the skill standards are followed by a link to the industry certification that recognizes an individual’s mastery of the skills within that particular skill standard.
